Big Hazama inspo for me this top 8, J-Anson makes his movement look so effortless. Makes me excited to play him more!
The VOD doesn't show it but Fenrich held the whole bracket up for like 1 1/2 hours because he was in another top 8 so now it's vendetta forever

I don't care nuch about the setting but I really like darktide and vermintide, I'm such a big fan of having a strong melee element in this kind of game.

Truth be told I still get anxious about soliciting matches! I've actually had a little bit of a regression on that recently but ultimately it's something you get more used to and better at dealing with the more you do it. Of course "if you're anxious about doing the thing then do the thing anxiously ...

I bought a stick to play Birdie in SFV to make his negative edge stuff easier and I never looked back! feels great to rip out any given input in. The exception to this is 3D fighters like Tekken and SoulCalibur, those where what i played mostly when i was a kid so pad is too ingrained for me to ...

Alright! Tomorrow (Saturday, 18 July) at 8pm GMT I'll be around for Blazblue/SF6/whatever on Fightcade (Toy Fighter perhaps? But I'm down for most things), I'll post my various deets a bit closer to time.
Though if we wanna chat while playing how should we handle that actually :?:

First WIP of the thread, a friend put me in her FF1 run as a Red Mage so I wanted to come up with a design for it! I'm still trying to figure out what the outfit actually is though...

I'd also check out Touhou Luna Nights by the same developers, similarly pretty short but some of my favourite boss fights in the genre. Mechanically it revolves mostly around your time slow/stop abilities and the way different obstacles/enemies interact with them

I typically end up running frontline stuff in darktide so abstract concepts like "aiming good" are not in my job description. Funnily enough i used to always go for revolvers/shotguns and other big damage one shot weapons but in darktide i get an uncommon joy from pointing a braced auto into a crowd ...

Your style is so fascinating to me, I'd never seen a mix of big chunky pixels and ascii as an artistic choice until I first saw your stuff. I didn't know what to make of it at first but I think you use them really well, and you hit that sort of Euro Microcomputer type vibe perfectly!
