Re: Noises I've made
These are all fantastic! The accordion always seemed to me like one of the more difficult instruments not just to learn but to actually play so it's always pretty cool seeing someone who does.

I mean it didn't help that there were a decent amount of forums that would warn or even ban you for doing itDarkOverord wrote: Wed Sep 24, 2025 3:32 pmI'm still trying to unlearn this habit back from 00s forum days![]()

Re: SAGE '25!
So far I've tried out Telegeddon , Snoutbreakers , and Project Reignition .
Telegeddon is a sort of RPG where instead of battles, you play Wario Ware-style microgames to deal damage. And they're just as wacky and all-over-the-place as their inspiration. It's got some decent puzzle-platforming in ...

Thanks! I've always been a huge fan of that style of shading ever since I played Viewtiful Joe back in the day. Everything about that game's artstyle just oozed cool and it stuck with me. Similar situation with Mario Strikers' art, heh heh.
Anyway, got a couple more profiles done.

Re: Emulation Megathread
I recently got an old arcade cabinet that I've been trying to retrofit using a raspberry pi along with a Recalbox hat that has a JAMMA connector on it. I'd like to put various arcade games on it using MAME ^^
Only problem is... the monitor on the cabinet uses a VGA video input, it's not wired ...

Every time I see a "game you love that nobody else knows about" topic I gotta drop Phantom 2040 in it 'cause you know what, this game? Right here?

Re: How to stay interested in forums?
Forums are definitely slower-paced than social media or chat servers, especially after the advent of those things - and that's kinda what I like about 'em! Granted, I do remember a time when forums were pretty fast paced...

Re: Why are you the way you are
So before finally identifying as a furry I used to just use a caricature of myself, but then a few years ago a furry friend of mine asked me what my favourite animal was. I said cheetahs, so they drew me as a cheetah. I loved it and immediately started using it as my online identity. It'd be a while ...

Hi howdy! I'm Zero Kirby, also known as the Local Psychic. Happened to see the link to this place in my Bluesky feed, took a look around, and decided, "heck, wynaut." Truth be told I've kinda missed the classic forum experience in the fast-paced modern era of social media and chat servers. Granted ...
