Oh, I love Solatorobo! Fantastic soundtrack, too. :3

And yeah, definitely in the Fans Of Tail Concerto Series group, I've been keeping up with CyberConnect2's work since the PSX days. I even have a couple of the kemono art books they put out!

If people haven't played the Fuga: Melodies of Steel games, they're neat tactics games cross visual novels, set in the time before Solatorobo takes place (and explain why the world is blown into floating island in that game). All three are available both on Steam and pretty much all the consoles.

I'll second the recommendation for the Fuga series for anyone who enjoys Solatorobo, very solid resource management sort of tactical RPG! As much as I enjoy the Little Tail Bronx world and have all the books etc, the gameplay of the other entries didn't quite grab me in the way Fuga did.

To add to the list of games what feels like no one remembers, I gotta shout out SkyGunner (PS2). Fantastic, fantastic little score attack variety of flight sim. Each bullet fired is a point off your total, but taking out enemy machines and completing stage missions will counter such. Each character's plane also has a special function or sometimes a change-up of available cartoon missiles, so it's quite fun figuring out how to make the most of the character's loadout to get that big number.

The development team got absorbed into a bigger company in the way that often happens to small studios, but surprisingly this game was made available on PSN (PS4/PS5) just last year.
