Re: Please help me make Windows 11 suck less
Do you fear Classic Shell because it might be ... dangerous? Do you have a specific fear of what Classic Shell might do to your system? I use it all the time, works fine for me. It's an essential add-on for Windows nowadays in my opinion. And it is straightforward to uninstall.

Please help me make Windows 11 suck less
So, months ago, I put together a brand new computer. I pieced together the hardware. I ran tests for stability. And then I just... left it unplugged in the corner, and went back to using my old, well-tuned Windows 10 machine.
Because I'm going to be honest: I really, really don't like Windows 11 ...

Re: City: The Animation!
Oh goodness, both of you need to watch Nichijou if you’re enjoying City so far! It’s extremely similar in tone and structure, and its 26-episode run is (in my opinion) some of the best television ever produced. The manga is also such an immense joy; everything Keiichi Arawi creates has such a warm ...

Hooray! An author/writing thread!
Right now I'm working (very, very slowly) on a storyline I call Transgressions . The short pitch is that it's the story of a Nightclub/Commune and the group of queer gals who run it/live there. They try their hardest to carve out a space where people like them can ...

Re: Favorite YouTube Channels
The channel of Matt J. Wilson is a treasure trove of good stuff.
More recently they've been doing some really great review videos, touching on the topics of animation and/or indie games. They've done a few huge indie game roundup videos that break down upcoming titles, and I adore those videos ...

Psst. Hey... Hey you. Yeah, you.
Bet you're looking for some of the good stuff, right? Not just nouns. You want the PRO version. But those prices, am I right?

Re: Fighting Games
Oh! Here's a quick question for everyone: What's your preferred controller?
Are you on a gamepad? Arcade stick? Keyboard?
Personally I confess to being a die-hard leverless fan. It probably has a whole lot to do with the fact that I learned how to play fighting games mostly on keyboard. Now I can ...

This thread is a joy! Thank you everyone for sharing such awesome music. I'm particularly delighted to see SLARPG mentioned upthread, because that game's OST is phenomenal .

Friend of Eggbug, reporting in.
CoHost wasn't flawless - In fact, it certainly did have some very real issues for folks. I will always admit that.
But I've never found a place quite like CoHost, and I'm still hurting from its loss. It didn't matter what I wanted to talk about, what I wanted to ...

Gosh I love fighting games!!
I've been playing fighting games since the original SFII was in the arcades. I've loved them ever since. When I was growing up, my friends and I would smuggle a NeoGeo emulator and KoF `98 on Zip Disk into the school computer lab at lunch, and battle each other 1 v 1 ...

I tried to play Moss and I had to quit because it was too cute !! it made me cry for being so cute, I just need to protect the little creature....

City: The Animation is so good so far!!
I'll confess that I'm in no way familiar with Nichijou, so I had no idea what to expect going in. The madcap energy, the characters, and the visual style have all been so captivating and delightful, every episode is just a joy to watch.

Re: Your fav indie horror games!
It's pretty light as far as horror goes, but I was really captivated by last year's Crow Country .
The game is a love letter to the early 3D survival horror of the late 1990s, and wears its inspiration (from the Resident Evil series) on its sleeve. What stands out about the game, particularly at ...

I really, really recommend Moss and the direct sequel, Moss: Book II .
