Hello, I have noticed no one made a post about splatoon, so I guess I’ll start one.
What I’ll say is I have around 800 hours on splatoon 3 and recently playing it again since update is rolling out again. My favorite weapons is the range blaster, S-blaster 91, and bucket deco!
I've played a lot of Splatoon, though I think it's 600+ hours instead of 800+. 3 was my first game in the series, after I really enjoyed the free demo Splatfest event. I primarily play the Flingza Roller and Big Swig Roller Express, and I really like the gameplay of maneuvering the map and covering as much of it as I can while avoiding other people (because those weapons aren't good at close combat) - and getting really good at escaping away. My main strategy is to use swim speed up combined with roller vertical flicks to get me to the middle fast, and then use the very strong painting to try and maintain mid as well as I can.
I've been playing Splatoon since the original release on the Wii U! I still play Splatoon 3 pretty regularly these days.
I'm universally terrible at the game, and never able to really improve in any way! I typically have about a 75% loss rate in any endeavor I participate in, and that's probably because I drag my team down. But I still play it! The game is really quite cool both aesthetically and mechanically, and the weapon variations are grand. I like being a little flip-a-dip somersaulting all over the map with dualies.
Usually I jump in whenever a Splatfest is going on, and grind my way up to Ruler. Lately I've decided that I'm going to complete the current catalog all the way up to level 100 - which is something I've never done before. I'm at about level 84, which is nice, because the end is in sight. Gonna snag that final emote!!
"The effort itself toward granting wishes is enough to fill a being's heart. One must imagine the Genie happy."
we started with splatoon 2, and gods, was it worth every hour.
this game taught us that uni-body gyro controls suck ass, but split-body gyro controls are amazing
if you're right handed, it's basically the same as having keyboard and mouse controls, but on a controller!
Beethoven (the dog/his, he/they) Red (he/they) Blue (she/her)
I like how Nintendo made good uses of the gyro since the wii days, and the biggest impact is got to be splatoon. Now I can’t live without gyro on games that use controllers lol

Yooo rollers can be fun. my favorite one is the carbon roller deco, which I like being aggressive with just like with other weapons
When I want to be aggressive I usually switch over to the Flingza Roller, where I've gotten somewhat good at instantly splatting people by running them over or by aiming the powerful vertical flicks. And then there's me being very annoying with Tenta Missiles. Though that's a different kind of aggressive than you'd have with a brush, for sure.
