Re: sonic

Ahh I was already thinking of starting a Sonic thread here later today but you were the true blue blur this time around.

I'm a BIG Sonic fan and I'm really excited for Crossworlds! Kind of annoyed though that the bulk of the DLC is going to be random Nicktoons stuff which have absolutely nothing to ...

Re: Severance [Spoilers Ahead]

Season 1 is one of the best pieces of TV entertainment in at least a decade.

I really enjoyed S2 as well but I do feel like the creative disagreements in the background could be seen in the show now and then - the focus was stretched into a couple of different directions, some characters were ...

Re: The Current

My current mini-fixation is Japanese furry singer/songwriter Totan AKA Monday9's album A Bucket of Soil (In the Future) . It actually came out last year but only on an incredibly limited self-released CD run that Totan seemingly only shared with friends - it only sneakily arrived in streaming ...

Re: shoegaze

I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout-out to BDRMM. They've been moving away a bit further from shoegaze each album and leaning heavier into more electronic, dream pop esque soundscapes, but their growth has been consistently excellent. Their 2023 album I Don't Know is a great mix of both of ...

Re: All Time Favorites

Maybe a bit more subtle, but this was a song that meant a lot to me when I was questioning/coming out. I didn't have much at the time.

A fantastic song from a phenomenal album! It's a cliché but "Chicago" from the same album hits me in the feels ...

Re: All Time Favorites

If there is one song that has had the most impact in my life, it's Manic Street Preachers' "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next". Back when I was a kid, I basically only listened to bangers - if a song wanted my acceptance it had to be energetic and it had to be upbeat, and I'd skip ...

Flint, have you ever checked out myabandonware ? There's a lot of classic PC titles preserved on there, as well as some really obscure and janky stuff. A surprising amount of text adventures and proto-GUI stuff.

Yeah, I sometimes bump into this site when I'm trying to track down something ...

Re: games u feel no one remembers.... 🖳

i agree w/ your last statement too (i hope i read it right, its 3 am my time at time of posting), i think a lot of the games here will be console games because so much stuff is just lost to time and unsupported OS.

That's definitely part of the issue - if a game hasn't been re-released one way ...
