Do you love Sundays? Do you love Dragons? Do you love DAYS? Well almost every Sunday is a DRAGON DAY and at that point Neman takes the stage and spins a wheel full of games. We play the game for 30 minutes, but viewers can use CHRONOMANCY with channel points to add/deduct time.



Things to know about Dragon Day:

• You CANNOT TF Neman during the stream, he's already too hot
• You CANNOT throw things at Neman, or we WILL remove you from the studio
• Neman is REFINED but EVIL, so please do not try to fix him
• Neman uses a custom controller stop asking how he can hold an NES controller it's very rude
• We sometimes have GUESTS who come over to play a Wheel SPECIALLY made for them
• The guests AGREED to this please stop feeling bad for them

Finished The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (using Ship of Harkinian) this week. This is the first time I've beaten the game. I played very little of it over 2 decades ago, but stopped when I got to the adult Link segment and didn't have Epona (at the time, I thought it was missable and I fucked up).

Some thoughts on the game... I think it's actually as good as people say it is. Usually, when people mention how some old games are "the best game of all time," it's because they played it during their formative years and it left a really strong impression on them. Or they were just very ahead of their time, but have aged pretty poorly (for example, I also played Mario 64 for the first time last year and I thought half of it was fun and half of it was terrible).

With OoT, it's honestly just very well-designed. Even if it has some jank, it's not terribly disruptive jank and it's acceptable with how old the game is. The dungeon designs are a lot of fun, the weapons and items are also good to use. My only regret is not having an actual N64 controller, because C buttons on the right stick are misery.

What it has done the most for me is make me realize just how much Dark Souls took from OoT. The gameplay, design philosophy, etc. DS is really just gothic OoT with more equipment and spells. (I still like DS, for the record.)

I'll probably do Majora's Mask on stream as well, just not this year. Next playthroughs are gonna be more of the horror variety, at least until August when we go all in on Shinobi games in anticipation of the Art of Vengeance.
