Tennocon was yesterday and I realized that there wasn't a Warframe thread yet.
If there is anyone new to the game, its a 3rd person shooter with a emphasis on speed and maneuverability (though not to the level of Titanfall). Its Free to Play so its pretty nice to pick up and put back down whenever you want. Hell the Critters could probably make a Dojo just for the forum if we wanted! I will shamelessly put a refer a friend link down for anyone who does want to try it out link
The story is, wild? Without getting too deep into it: The Tenno are warriors who use warframes to accomplish their goals. Each frame is unique in its form and design, from Excalibur to Nekcros to Flare each have their own Thing that they bring to the table.
The gameplay is fun, these days I tend to focus on opening relics because I have a massive backlog and want to get them out of my inventory. Though I'm also trying to get parts for Prime frames.
The common joke is that DE is a music company that does games on the side, and its not without merit tbh. Take for example this canonical boyband that exists in the 1999 story arc.
Is there anything my fellow Tenno are looking forward to with the upcoming story? Anything you're working on?

Re: Warframe - Tenno Gather
I'm too new to Warframe to have a proper opinion. I think I've only just recently finished the tutorial-ish prologue missions and am sort of just paralyzed with choice at the moment? I have the Venus junction missions waiting for me but I kinda want to do all(?) the Earth nodes first? And I have no idea what the Tennocon 2025 relay thing is, but I know there's meant to be a reward for doing it? I didn't even know Warframe had a referral thing.
I really like the very many customization options for practically each individual part of equipment, even if it's jangling the promise of even more available for purchase or loot-box-ery.

Early on that's a pretty good way to go about it! Doing nodes and feeling out your frames and seeing what you like. If you get every single node on the star map you'll unlock a thing called "Steel Path", which is effectively hard mode. I'm still working on unlocking that, I'll have to ask a friend of mine to carry me because some of the late stage nodes simply uhhh don't have any public queues for themElTipejoLoco wrote: Sun Jul 20, 2025 11:20 pm I'm too new to Warframe to have a proper opinion. Re: Warframe - Tenno Gather
I played a ton of Warframe in 2023, finishing almost all of the base content. I definitely hyper-focused on it, got a few frames fully kitted out and then kind of stopped after I had gotten what I could out of the roguelite mode.
I think it's a great game and there's not much like it, but it's also in that category of MMOs of "I might come back to it in like half a decade."

Re: Warframe - Tenno Gather
oh hey someone made a warframe thread! i was thinking about doing it myself lol. i started playing the game when the second dream first came out (wow that was almost 10 years ago..) and it's just captured me in a way that no other game has. i have never taken a break from warframe i have been there on day 1 for every single major update for the past decade... i have thousands of hours in the game and own every single warframe lmao. i am very normal about this video game, and the next update they showed off at tennolive looks fucking insane :o
