Sergals are fantastic and fun!
I do think that over time the "edgy" reputation has been getting softened, and most I've interacted with have been chill critters, rather than asshole edgelords.
Maybe I have been fortunate in that regard, ANY WAY, cheesy wedges, etc

Yeah, they've definitely shaken off a lot of that "WH40K syndrome" (my personal term for "edgelords & shitheels flocking to a grimdark/dystopian/centered-around-the-villain work", which iirc the first-translated part of the canon very much was) they used to suffer from, and it's very good to see.
