• You must be 18+ to join this forum - While this forum is explicitly SFW, we do not have the structure, time and expertise to ensure the safety of minors.
• This forum is a SFW (Safe-for-Work) space - This includes sexually explicit and adult images, videos or written content. We don’t have anything against NSFW art or content outside of the forum, but as the above-mentioned rule, it requires an extra level of moderation that we can’t comfortably provide. You are welcome to link to your galleries or pages that contain adult material, as long as said pages have age gates or some built-in content warning functionality.
• This Website is English-only - Please only use English when posting on this forum. You can use US, Australian, British, Pirate or whichever type of English you want, but it needs to be understandable by the moderation team at least.
• This is a Queer and left-leaning space - People here are hella gay and we don’t have the time or patience to debate or hear “both sides.” If you take terms like “woke” or “SJW” seriously, you don’t belong here (you probably belong in the dumpster).
• Treat others as you’d like to be treated - Do not insult, demean or attack other members of this forum. This includes public exchanges as well as direct messages. This also includes using slurs in your posts even if you feel you have “permission” to use them.
• Ironic Shitposting is Still Shitposting - Using irony, devil’s advocate or any other methods to shield yourself from the rules will not work. If you are being racist ironically, you will be banned unironically.
• Behavior Outside of This Forum (private) - Using this forum to seek out members elsewhere (like Discord, social media, etc) to bypass the rules and harass them will be treated as though it was done on the forums.
• Behavior Outside of This Forum (public) - If you have exhibited behavior outside of the forums that strongly goes against this community (for example, being a TERF on social media), you will be removed from this community, even if you never posted after making your account.
• Sensitive Topics - Politics and religion are allowed to be referenced or talked about, but should not have dedicated threads. We expect a level of maturity from adults, but these things are very stressful and prone to blowing up, so we want to be able to put a lid on it easily. And just to be clear, no, people’s sexuality, gender or ethnicity are not political.
• No Illegal Content - piracy, ROMs/ISOs, and other illegal content are not allowed here or in private messages. Emulators and mods are allowed.
• No Generative AI Content - GenAI is strictly prohibited, whether it’s content created by GenAI, or promoting GenAI. This is a community for creators, not slop.
• No Roleplay - This is a discussion forum, and while in-character or /emoting is fine, it is not the focus of this space.
• Read the Rules of Each Subforum - Each subforum has posting guidelines in addition to these rules, usually referring to thread policy. Please read them before making threads or posts.
• Be Mindful of What You Say in Public - This is less for us and more for you - be mindful about what you say about public figures, institutions, or individuals in your posts. The state of the world is such that you might get yourself (or us) into trouble for practicing what should be free speech.
• Be Mindful What You Say in Private - Admins have access to private messages on this forum, and while we will only ever look at them if they are reported, you should be aware that these messages are not safe for sensitive information. If you want your communication to be truly private, please use any other messaging service that offers end-to-end encryption.
• The Air Bud Double Negative Rule - You may be warned or temporarily or permanently banned from this forum even if no rule exists saying something isn’t allowed. We reserve the right to remove individuals as needed.
