I'm a sometimes buggo-horse, sometimes space birb coming by to check things out. @HakariSquish made me away of this site and it seemed neat. As someone who still uses other forums and sometimes even still IRC it seems right up my alley.
I am known as LinuxAvali, though people just call me "Linux" most the time (yes, like the operating system). I hail from Vancouver (the GVRD), BC, Canada. I'm a technology enthusiast of new and old stuff, though mostly on the history, and less on the collecting side. I write software for a living and help run several local conventions and conventions abroad.
I like Technology, Programming, Tinkering, Linux (the OS), Retro Games/Emulation, Minecraft, Cooking, Walks around the city, Conventions, Hanging with my friends, and probably more that I'm not thinking about. I have previously served on the board for the BCAEA (VancouFur's parent org) and I currently manage the website for many different conventions.
This place seems like a chill vibe and I'm looking forward to meeting you all and talking about similar interests and hobbies.
