Re: Show us your fursonae 👀
I have never really had anything set in stone, in fact I kind of prefer being multiple choice. However, this is a piece of art a friend of mine from over a decade ago did for me so I thought I'd share, Their old username was Fax, though we grew apart over time so I really don't know if they're still out there. I had a few other pieces but they seem to not meet image compression. I do recall that this was made as a result of asking him to put a race he was working on called midyvn in some assemblage of a red mage outfit.
There are other worlds than these.

Ash (full name: Ashley Altman), a former human mutated into a shapeshifting alien species called amphimorpho.

Kinda instantly fell in love with this species when I found 'em. Their ability to shapeshift comes in hella useful given my previous tendency to create a whole new OC every time I encountered a new species I wanted to try out.
Ash is often seen shifted into a yinglet, bat, pooltoy, plushie, or some combination therein depending on my mood.
Art by TuxedoDragon, who created the amphimorpho species.

Here's my birb boy! His name is Rinne (pronounced RiN) and he is an avali. I dearly love my fluffy space raptor good boy.

I have a bunch more details about them on my website if you are curious. I also have a ponysona for the brony fandom which can be found there.

Re: Show us your fursonae 👀
For nearly 30 years my one single fursona has been Thom, who, since about 2012, has found himself in a hypercapitalist spacefaring dystopia, trying to survive as an anxious, untrained, and unlucky contractor for REZQ, a company that rescues and recovers people trapped in dangerous situations in deep space. Think Thunderbirds but privatised, and with terrible working conditions.
The REZQ setting, and Thom's part in it, has long been a kind of project of tinkering and representing little moments (such as in the large collection of illustrated vignettes over at rezq.space, which you can read in any order) but I have recently been working on longer pieces of fiction about him. It's foregrounding a lot his queerness, his vulnerability, and his difficulty in navigating a world that is way to hard for someone as soft as him. I've really been enjoying opening up the character and I hope to have more complete fiction to share soon!
