I am going to see if we're all still a collective bunch of absolute tech nerds because I am getting towards a dead end here.
I received a K585 DITI PRO as a gift and I want to make it work. The thing is nice and big for my meatspace hands but the company software is absolute garbage.
I want to record keystrokes to the G-keys that are not on the keyboard itself but natively it won't do that.
The software does not detect the keyboard as being connected to my PC. Windows (11 bah) does not give me anything but default HID USB Keyboards so I can't try and update any drivers from there.
I have tried all of the regular tests;
2 different PCs and all these steps
- Different cables
- Different ports
- use wireless dongle on different ports
- source and install older version drivers
- reset device to factory settings
- uninstall, reboot, reinstall drivers (various versions in turn)
I checked on r/redragon and on Toms Hardware forums. The first one left me with just downvotes for apparently daring to ask a question and no answer.
Toms just gave me the same steps I already tried, videos I already watched (where I got the older versions of the software) and people telling me I picked a crappy device (to get as a gift apparently).
Also tried to use Autohotkey, TGMacro and some other 3rd party software that seems to require a degree in programming to set up but those won't acknowledge the G-keys even exist.
So turning to my own people

Thanks for reading at least.
