3D Printing

Post by virtuafox »

Seeing as I own two of them (An Elegoo Centauri Carbon and a Bambu P1P), I think this could be a good space to talk about it, projects and stuff like that.

Most recently, I printed out a case for someone for a Pi Pico 2, for an authenticator project. A little odd, but I'm not one to judge! My Bambu printer handles PLA well, while I tend to use the Elegoo for everything else, to minimize warping risk.

I use mine primarily for printing out board game pieces. Last year I designed and printed a chess set, and it actually came out pretty nicely! I did, however, run into an issue when trying to print a second copy when my thermistor started fucking up, and then when I tried to replace it, I ended up only making it worse. Not a fun time.
