Whether it's con raves, podcasts, one-off recordings or live sets I've always been fascinated with mixes. Although obsessed with trance sets particularly as a teen back in the 2000's, I'm into all kinds of stuff now for both the music and the art form of making it all work together. I started doing it myself with a Numark Mixtrack II five years ago and eventually replaced it with a PioneerDJ DDJ-400, although I don't use it much anymore. Here's a few personal favorites:

Some popular ones worth checking out are Future Sound of Egypt podcast by Aly & Fila (trance), Drumcode Live (techno), anything mixed by Paul Oakenfold, Blackout Music podcast (neuro DnB) and Furry Rave Crew although that podcast has sadly been quiet for a while now. My own post here is stylistically narrow, so I'd love to see what everyone else is into.

DJ mixes are great, they're the "intended" way to listen to a lot of dance music and also a great way to use human curation to find new music.

As for other people's mixes, Essential Mix shows are not to be overlooked. Sasha's 2000-02-27 mix and Leftfield's 2000-04-16 mix I always keep around but there's thousands to pick from, many of them very good.

DJ Food's Raiding The 20th Century (archive) is an insane look at mashup culture from the era and not to be overlooked. Literally everyone should give it a listen at some point though how much impact it has depends a lot on how much musical background you have; the more you know of what's being mashed the more you realize how crazy it is. Copies of it are still floating around in many places.
