
A true classic and a genre-defining titan, we've all likely at least heard of the game, if not played it ourselves.
For those not familiar (or only so in passing), Minecraft is a first-person voxel-based simulation/sandbox game, based around placing and removing the various voxel types ("blocks") that make up the game environment. In the decade+ since its original release, it's gone from basically as bare-bones as that summary to an incredibly complex game, with a survival mode, an iconic crafting system, living creatures populating (and in some cases, depopulating) the world, a semblance of a "story", a logic-block system so intricate people have made computers out of it, and so much more. The modding scene is equally vibrant; pretty much the entire factory-game genre grew out of some of the more iconic mods for this game.
