Huh... for some reason, I sort of expected an AC thread at some point. I feel like there's an overlap between furries into old tech and furries into AC.

That reminds me, I've been meaning to give Armored Core 3 a shot again! I was thrown off by the controls when I first played it a few years back, but now I think I could manage. Any tips for a newbie?

The most important fundamental to master in oldgen is bunnyhopping - short boost followed by a jump while strafing, repeatedly, to maintain speed as long as possible while managing your energy. If you stagger/do a hard landing and get stunned at the wrong time, you're toast

One of my gaming Feats of Strength was beating Armored Core 1 with this piece of trash, because I happened to have a collection of weird controllers at the time.
