Re: Have you played Atari 2600 to-day?

Dragonstomper is one of the first, possibly the first console RPG. It's really basic, sure, but it actually does have all the elements to be considered a JRPG. Sadly, I don't know if I could call it a good game -- it's very much luck based and pretty repetitive.
But it's sure neat it exists, right ...

Jimmy and Baby

From Paul Robertson (Kings of Power Four Billion, Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle, the pixel art that shows up in Gravity Falls or Rick & Morty). Not as unsafe as the other stuff but still a little out there.

Three Dog Band (honorable mention)

Already a period piece when it aired in 2010, an attempt to update the "cartoon rock band". Made by Paul Rudish, who would later helm the "wha'happan" era of Mickey Mouse cartoons.

A Kitty Bobo Show (honorable mention)

An unsold pilot, first aired on Cartoon Network in 2001. Definitely a nostalgia piece. What do you mean, "before people had cell phones?" People have always had cell phones!

The Bremen Avenue Experience (honorable mention)

Originally ran as interstitials on Cartoon Network afternoons in the late 2000s, so it's only a leetle old.

Why do video-game developers not understand car-combat games? You give us a car, you let us put guns on it, you let us go fast and shoot things. Just do that. They always have to make it more complicated.

Have you played Atari 2600 to-day?

We love our second-gen consoles.
Did you know Atari manuals don't include the word "pixel"? It wasn't a concept for their hardware. Either you're displaying something or you're not.

Here's a video explaining the difficulties of capturing video when "resolution" is not a analog concept.

Re: Choosing A New Laptop Advice

I do recommend that your portable devices shouldn't have too much storage, as they tend to get lost or stolen. I always recommend getting off-site backup, like Backblaze.

I would also recommend closeout/remaindered machines. My vendors of choice are the Dell Outlet and MicroCenter.com
