Re: Image gallery software (on docker)

No, I actually want to search the images, even if I need to manually assign tags or put them in folders. (I think the format is called booru) The quantity is getting absurd, I even posted on the home server topic a photo of one of the things I want to add to this.

Bonus points if it can also handle ...

Image gallery software (on docker)

Someone already was asking about stuff to store and play music, there's talk about home servers...

I'm here to ask for help on this, from one older fur to another.
Is anyone here willing to give me a hand setting this up? I'm not even sure what's a good service to use, let alone how to install them ...

Re: Linux General Thread

It was going to happen sooner or later.

Debian Trixie has a tentative release scheduled for early August now. I'm looking forward to those updates hitting MX Linux, my distro of choice.

Is anyone else here enough of a :ugeek: to get excited about new Debian releases? Do you compile your own ...

Re: VTubing and YOU

i see VTuber Plus mentioned in the OP and i feel the need to mention arzolath (the person who made VT+) is kinda, deep deep into generated AI slop. confronted him about some brazen use of it a while back and got some (now-deleted) aggressive replies from him.

VNyan is a great alternative, been ...

Re: Music Library Software?

I personally started messing with mopidy, thanks to self-hosting and a pi Zero + 🏴‍☠️audio (no joke, that's what it's called, I'm not sure I want to write the ARRRRH word here xD )

Still gotta figure out if it accepts playlists and whatnot tho.

Re: Is anyone here into cyberdecks?

I've wanted something like this ever since eeePCs stopped becoming what they were and turned into "Kinda small-ish full sized laptops" (and now they're just... full sized laptops, I don't know, meh)

I was looking into premade stuff for awhile. I mostly just need a device with a keyboard I can ...

Look at this mess. Can you imagine a working computer from all this? Well, I can't, because those weren't even all the parts!
Most of my proccess was over on bluesky, you can still find it over on my profile ...

Is anyone here into cyberdecks?

For whoever doesn't know what a "cyberdeck" is, it is a custom computer assembled from assorted parts, be them off-shelf, printed, sculpted, assembled and any other customized variations.
There's ones that look like laptops, wearables, pip-boys, you name it. It's a computer in a very weird shape ...

Re: Do you have a Home Server? You should!

This is my home :D

I do have a very simple home server, it just runs Xubuntu (I needed a light desktop. Terrible choice, but it works) and has a Ryzen 3 3200g as its brain.

I store media and host two or three game servers per week in there, but I *never* figured out ...

Re: VTubing and YOU

Dang, I'm glad I got here. While I don't have a 3D avatar yet, having some extra info on vnyan (which can run on Linux, iirc) will be of great help in the future!

Right now, I need to work on a new PNGtuber

Hello there!

I found this on Bsky and got curious as I fit all three categories of what this is supposed to be about.

Then I started messing with the profile settings and found the 1996 styled forum page, and proceeded to just rofl1
First impressions are great, not gonna lie. Anyway, about me now:
