You stumble upon a blank book
Within a forest, a small dirt clearing with patches of grass is exposed to the brightness of the sun through breaks in the canopy. A few pebbles and rocks are glistening from the drops left by the morning dew as a soft breeze gently flows through along your nondescript surface form (if applicable ...

Re: Modems! Those magical things that screech over long distances!
Dang i ALSO screech across long distances.
Modems are a LITTLE before my time and there's only a vague window of time from which I remember them. This however is still enough to kinda make me wanna mess around with a couple of the modern instances of them that are still kicking around somehow ...

Re: Modems! Those magical things that screech over long distances!
We did lose our first modem to a thunderstorm as kids. We unplugged the PC during it, but not the phone line and an electric surge melted our modem.
Wow, that is really unfortunate.
I think by the time I was old enough to use the computer myself, my mother had switched us over to DSL, which ...

Wild Metal Country! Made by the same people who made Grand Theft Auto, who are now known only as the makers of GTA. This is a nice and slow tank game where you collect rainbow cores and return them.

I specifically am going to pick some interesting small channels that I subscribe to that I find interesting, mostly related to topics around video games and whatnot.

Stargate!
I have been watching lots of Stargate recently, currently Atlantis! I really enjoy the Stargate series, for the most part with few exceptions, just it is too bad it is not something that will ever come back in its classic form.

I suppose an option to disable animations or only show the first frame of a GIF would be good, the animations are very distracting.
Also, perhaps the Readable theme could be the default? It was very eye straining to sign up and to find the option to switch themes as Fixedsys is not really a well ...

Gosh, this was a sound I heard all too often just to get online. Times definitely have changed since.

Hello?
Hi! I am Xer, I am a Squirrel but also an Orc! Have not used such ancient internet communication technologies since an era long past, but this definitely brings back memories lol. I do reverse engineering and retro stuff, like working on a Java Virtual Machine (you can call it an Emulator) that can ...
