A thread for new music discoveries! The actual music doesn't have to be new, you only need to have found it recently.
TIL that Rebecca Sugar (whomst created Steven Universe and worked on Adventure Time for a good while) has seemingly been focusing more on music since SU ended. They have some ...

I'm not a big podcast person, but I'll always go to bat for CheapShow . It's two guys going around the charity shops and cheap-o stores looking for treasure amongst the trash, complete with silly games and the occasional outing in parts of London, all held together with EXTREMELY mucky humour (so ...

Re: Toy characters
Maybe it's because they tend to feel hard compared to the squishiness of a pooltoy or plushie.
Are they usually hard? I've seen lots of rubbery toys in real life that are squishy and the point is to squish them. Like Mash'ems for instance, though looking into it I do see some of these kinds of ...

Re: Toy characters
Hehe I guess there's not many people here who like to go for (non-erotic) solid rubber toys. Not super surprising; my choice of self representation seems very niche overall, and I think this is mostly something you go for when you really embrace autism and really embrace synthetic characters at ...

I listen almost entirely to comedy podcasts, so if they're not for you, might as well skip on down.

I recently played Flamecraft for the first time, a neat little game where you wander around your little dragon village buying and trading goods with other dragons.
It was fairly simple to learn and took a surprisingly long time to play—though that might just be because of the learning. It has some ...

Re: Toy characters
I have occasional balloon forms. I just love the thought of being this air-filled, squeaky critter (certainly Leina does too!).
I'd have to say my main toy character now is Ceralor, who was created by Kay Ohtie but he has very graciously allowed me to basically adopt him and consider him my own ...

Lotta folks who played Spore seemed to dislike the space stage of the game, but the city and space stages were my favourite parts.
Those are when the game stops being about surviving against being eaten and more about proper resource management, diplomacy and/or warfare.

Daði Freyr.
Just generally.
He's really good at softly re-adapting songs to his own musical style when covering them.

Re: Read Any Good Webcomics?
I've been reading Scoob and Shag, which started out as a shitposty parody of old cartoons, but evolved into a Bizarre Adventure with an overarcing plot, clever action, unclear allegiances, and compelling re-imaginings of so many classic characters.
Sadly the author/artist had to get a day job to ...

I'm An Old so I've been into Pokémon literally since it launched upon these shores. I still have a binder of cards from 1998 in my possession, and Pokémon has been the main reason I've even owned as many Nintendo consoles as I have.
