Re: Porpoise Polygon Pile
Thank you. Gave it a new texture this morning, using a different technique for the stitching and such.

Re: Porpoise Polygon Pile
Spent tonight throwing together a halloween plague doctor look quickly - and along the way set up a reusable, spline-driven, low poly belt.

Porpoise Polygon Pile
I like to push polygons and pixels around in Blender and Substance Painter. My focus lately has been on VRChat avatars so I've been posting a little bit in that thread, but I thought I'd make a more general art thread for people who don't really care about the VR stuff.

Working on making some clothes for this cute free pupper base called 'Polaris' that doesn't have any yet. Feat. a branding idea I had for if I keep making things.

Re: The VRChat Selfie Thread [56k WARNING]
Well, that didn't work, so I'm escalating the battle for personal space. It's unconscionable how many furries who should know better think it's OK to get up in someone's business without asking.

Re: The VRChat Selfie Thread [56k WARNING]
In less fun news, this is the level I'm having to go to in order to try to stop people from touching my head or face without consent. The furry community is so god-awful with this.

I grabbed Cryptia's new version of Tasque Manager and have been spending a bunch of time optimizing, bugfixing, and gussying her up. Cute model, but the technical qualities would make me hesitate to buy another avatar from the same author again.

Re: Our own little Paradise - Making a Critter Time themed map
After Glow is a really fun and cozy map once you get used to za layout. A group meetup we go to uses a modified version of it and it runs very well on Quest standalone!
Submitting art to fill za lounge would be fun! Would you want stuff zhat's on brand or just any kind of creature art? - Tabi (ey ...

Lol, I quit CrossCode when it tried to pull this after I'd started skipping the story.Flint wrote: Fri Aug 01, 2025 7:24 pm Trivia pop quiz. Hope you've read all the codex entries *props up glasses*.
I wouldn't be a boss, I'd be the rare spawn enemy you explode comically to get my hoard of shiny treasure.

Noctis IV is a cool little thing! It's been kept alive by the community over the years. There was Noctis IV Community Edition, which added features and made a Windows executable, but as time progressed it became very incompatible with modern Windows. If you want to play Noctis today, Noctis IV Plus ...

Re: Neurodivergent Talk!
I have a very thick, expensive diagnosis of Autism. The report is really painfully laser accurate in describing me, yet the label of autism still feels weird. The doctor herself admitted she didn't understand why I was seeking a diagnosis until she got deep into the testing phase of the process and ...

Re: Asexuality in the furry fandom
I've very recently come to terms with being ace. Im extremely kinky but i think anything related to IRL sex and a lot of the human body just... makes me mentally very upset.
Big mood, Ive considered myself grey ace since it seems to specifically apply to anyzhing IRL for me. Definitely has ...

Re: Asexuality in the furry fandom
I think what my own personal ruminations lately have come to is that labels of asexual, allosexual, pan, sapphic, whatever, just are doing mental harm to me personally right now and I need to abandon them. What I want is so context-sensitive trying to lay claim to any kind of community based on them ...

Re: Mahjong Madness (and other Japanese parlor games?)
There's 'almost American Mahjong' variants to get around the silliness of the official version, of course. Even Mahjong Soul has a setting that includes the Charleston and some other rules changes, but uses more standard yaku.

Re: Mahjong Madness (and other Japanese parlor games?)
I would also like to see a game tackle American Mahjong , which (if I remember reading the rules right) has a limited set of like 10 yaku you can use to score. Or at least, that was a variant I saw.
There's a reason you don't see American Mahjong. It's regulated by The National Mahjongg League ...

Re: Asexuality in the furry fandom
Very interesting read, and one that unfortunately confirms my fears about trying to transition IRL and connect with other transfem and furries there. I recently went to a local meetup with some furs, many of whom were transfem, in my new home city, and was made VERY uncomfortable with the touchiness ...

Re: Asexuality in the furry fandom
Yeah, it ultimately comes down to the inadequacy of labels to truly communicate a person's experience. Assuming anyone who claims a label fits a narrow definition is going to make an ass out of you. I've been grappling with this lately in terms of claiming 'pan' or 'sapphic' for myself. My desires ...
