Re: Modems! Those magical things that screech over long distances!
I remember using dial-up as late as 2010, until we finally got access to ADSL in the house we had moved to. These were dark times for Australia hahaha.
It didn't help that I was staffing two websites at that time, that did involve video or large images. That was an incredible pain in the arse ...

Re: Nintendo DS - Touching is Good
I loved using the DS so much, it really was one of the very first consoles (for me) that actually felt like a giant leap into the future, ESPECIALLY after flashcarts came onto the scene. I used that thing as a portable emulation machine, and to browse the web, so often. It really felt like a ...

Re: Why are you the way you are
Nice to read! Truth be told we cannot even begin comprehending the idea of furries being weird about cartoon animals, but the entire concept of the "furry fandom" isn't something we really understand in the first place. But anyway, thanks for putting so much out there about it
To tell on ...

Re: Sharp as a Katana - Sega's Dreamcast
I'd love to own a Dreamcast someday - I somehow simply never wound up owning one. Master System? Mega Drive? Saturn? I have access to those, but somehow never a Dreamcast.

Re: Why are you the way you are
I regret not realising this topic exists before making this post at the "Show us your fursonae" thread . Luckily, that post mostly just covers the design process and the thoughts behind it, rather than the deep meat of the details.

It's funny. This creature (above standard reference art by a person known as Harlem) was never meant to become a fursona. Nor this picture as its primary reference. It's funny how history works out.

Re: PlayStation 3 - It's almost 20 years old!
I remember my Dad getting a PS3 at the same time as getting a Plasma TV, because he wanted to have a Blu-Ray player for it, and that was the cheapest option. This's around 2007 or 2008, I forgot which year.

aaa Hey there everyone!
Thank you for the watermelons. I'm glad to be around here. I hope I get less shy with posting. The older I've gotten, the more reclusive I've kinda become hahaha.
I wasn't expecting so many replies, this is kind of overwhelming. :D

This place seems cool!
I don't think I used an "old school" style forum since the declines of MFGG, Sega-16, and some other sites in the early 10s. I hope this place goes well!
