That's the ISO standard code for the "Electrocution Hazard" warning sign~
Anyway hello! I'm Trysdyn, or Trys, or "that jolteon" or "the shock hazard" or "the spiky weirdo" or... I play fast and loose with names. "Trysdyn" is more or less an identifier to go in databases that require an actual name; you can call me anything I'd recognize as talking about me.
I'm an agender jolteon furry (though not so hugely active in the fandom anymore), with a sometimes-kitsune and a sometimes-skunk/umbreon (skunkbreon?) kicking around in my head from time to time. I'm not really plural but I'm not extremely singlet either; it's more about moods.
I'm a former-sometimes-current speedrunner and still do casual retro stuff on Twitch. I've just come out of a multi-year stint of doing only RPGs and now I'm spinning a wheel to pick random things to check out from a ~21,000 game list of retro platforms. It's been a much needed change of pace.
I build and run events. I'm a showrunner and the technical lead for the Kusogrande "bad" video game tournament, and I'm the marathon chair for Big Bad Game-a-thon. I'm also building my own marathon/event running toolchain using modern streaming tech like WebRTC to give marathons a cluster of video servers and some overlay automation tools to let them try running their own events with minimal technical work.
I'm also a VG preservationist and obscura researcher. I've tracked down lost media, gotten bugs in ancient indie games fixed by the original devs 30 years after the fact, started fights about preserving and publishing unreleased translation patches, and aided in the building of collections of manuals and games from the 90s.
I also also write entirely too dang much, so probably expect longpost infodumps on random topics; sorry in advance :)
