Let's talk about our favourite covers, especially those which you feel are underrated or surpass the original version.
My contribution is this version of Q Lazzarus's Goodbye Horses, performed by Kele from Bloc Party. I love how much energy it has and the way it crescendos towards the chorus. The rich synths, the percussion, Kele's emotive vocals. It's one of those songs which I can put on when I'm feeling low and it immediately cheers me up.

Ooooh, this is a fun thread idea! I’ll pitch in a weird pull; I personally find Aivi and Surasshu’s cover of K.K. Cruisin’ to be the most thoughtful, textured, and downright interesting rendition of the song:
I’d love to see what other oddities folks can pull; I have a soft spot for a good cover!!!

Daði Freyr.
Just generally.
He's really good at softly re-adapting songs to his own musical style when covering them.
