It's Critter Time!

Welcome to the art thread for Professor Alopex and Friends! I sometimes draw things, even though they're not amazing quality, and sometimes I sculpt or 3d print as well~

I'll start this thread off simple, with the refsheets of my OCs!!

And also, some chess pieces that I made during the pandemic when I got really into chess variants!! I made both a regular set and a bunch of variant pieces.

I used Sculpey III clay. I bought it in these big 3.75 lb blocks and chopped it up into 2 oz pieces for the "big" pieces, and 1 oz pieces for the pawns. I'd recommend it, BUT you might need to put a skeleton inside it for stability. I kinda just raw-dogged these pieces and their heads kept falling off

Flux and Poleax are too new for me to really have much art of them yet. Also, it's a real shame that Kasi and Akesi have one of the more interesting dynamics among my cast because they're ABSOLUTE FUCKING BULLSHIT TO DRAW.

Thank you!! I was inspired by the video game Battle Chess, which also anthropomorphizes chess pieces, as well as having these cute little fight scenes between them when they capture each other. Things like the Pawn dropping the Bishop into a hole, or kicking the Knight in the balls, or the Queen blowing up the Rook with a magic spell.

Here's Clarion and Cirrus in concert! I like to think they do soft, gentle jazz music, the kind of music you'd listen to on a cold, rainy day, while looking out the window, hot cup of tea in hand. Sometimes Clarion even uses her water-type powers to make it rain for real.

Poleax, the Yipping Knight! He concentrates his will into his axe, and chops into the earth to open a Dark Fountain!

What kind of Dark World will he make :O?

Thanks! At some point I might draw Topaz and Cirrus cosplaying as Susie and Ralsei. Maybe Flux as Spamton, also. I wonder who Kris would be?

To an outside observer, if Nirvana was having a conversation with someone it would look less like they're actually having a conversation and more like they're just standing there silently as the other person talks to themself

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1218410611/ I made this as a simple mockup of what Alopex's voice-grunting might sound like in a game like Deltarune, but then I decided to go a bit further and add the rest of the Phox Gang. As of the time of this writing, I've only added Alopex, Gelphox and Cirrus, but I plan to add all of them.
