Image gallery software (on docker)

Someone already was asking about stuff to store and play music, there's talk about home servers...

I'm here to ask for help on this, from one older fur to another.
Is anyone here willing to give me a hand setting this up? I'm not even sure what's a good service to use, let alone how to install them in my home server/a container.

The sheer quantity of old image references or just resources I don't want to lose anymore and would benefit from some drive redundancy on the server I already have. Not sure why there isn't ANY gallery system already customized for instant install on Casa OS
foxsad

(I did look into this, but couldn't make heads or tails of whatever wasn't working. I'm probably to old to learn how to install these from scratch)

What features are you looking for from image gallery software specifically over, say, just browsing the folder structure over a network mount and using a local image viewer?

No, I actually want to search the images, even if I need to manually assign tags or put them in folders. (I think the format is called booru) The quantity is getting absurd, I even posted on the home server topic a photo of one of the things I want to add to this.

Bonus points if it can also handle fonts, but I need mainly images and vector files.

I have to say, it did *not* occur to me just dumping everything on the nas-accessible folder and browsing them with a local image viewer. The problem is still the lack of organization/tagging/identification.

We just built a website for this. Can have all the functionality we want, the UI we want, and it's accessible anywhere—handy for giving out references or sharing stuff.

Granted you gotta build it yourself and be comfy with everything being online.

That's why I mentioned docker/home server, I want everything to be local, just not on my main pc.
