Ive been playing Knockout Kings 2000 a bit lately while going through my old PS1 games and got reminded of all the easter egg names there are for the career mode.
(currently doing a career for an alien while everyone's heads are pulsating between 0% size and 200% size, its beautiful)

While playing this it made me think: "The CRITTERS probably have some good easter eggs and cheat codes for games I would wanna see." so now this thread exists ying

Let's talk about Zybourne Clock.

Zybourne Clock was a theoretical goon (as in Something Awful Forums Poster, before the cultural context of the word changed) project from 2003 that never happened. It was steampunk and about time travel I think? The main guy was named Johnny Fiveaces.

It was poorly thought out and had one very major stumbling block: only one person working on it had any game dev experience, and this was back in 2003, we're talking Pre-Unity: the current consoles are PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox (classic). Also that guy got kicked off the project at some point, leaving zero developers. Some concept art and rough scripts for a few scenes existed.

I spent alot of my formative late teens/early adult years on SA, so even though it was an absolute shitshow, it was a funny shitshow. I won't be able to do a full explanation justice so this link explaining everything about it that is currently known will have to do: https://shii.bibanon.org/shii.org/knows ... Clock.html

ANYWAY this has been a very long setup to let you know that Johnny Fiveaces is in Fallout New Vegas

I don't know if Easter Egg is really a way to describe it, but because Remember When RoboCop Shot That Dude In The Dick was such a meme regarding the first move, RoboCop: Rogue City makes human enemies take critical damage when you shoot them in the dick. There's some enemies that wear helmets later in the game, so it's actually a viable strategy.

The Gamecube et al Minority Report game has a cheat code that lets you activate ragdoll physics on yourself with a button press. It is extremely funny

If you press hold both buttons while pressing start in Mappy Arrangement, you turn the cutesy toony characters everybody knows...

Image
The first screen of Mappy Arrangement, part of Namco Classics Collection Volume 1 for the arcade. Mappy stands vigil against the pink cat, Meowkie and the red cat, Goro.

...into realistic cats and mice.

Ditto, but instead they are presented as realistic animals instead.

This gag is probably the only thing worth noting in this version of Mappy, barring the cooperative mode. You'd be better off playing the original Arcade or even Famicom versions instead.
