Hi there! It's been a while since I've seen a good old fashioned phpBB forum and I'm really excited to join!
I've been visiting forums since like 2006 and it really left a hole in me once the last of the ones I called home died in like 2014.

Anyway, Fox of hellish nature here ready to spread some delightful chaos.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I do have a question for the admins, how do you deal with spam? I was briefly part of a (now dead) forum experiment earlier this year, but it got kind tiring having to constantly suspend and delete the spam accounts.

We haven't had the issue so far and we require email verification to register. If it becomes an issue, we can briefly suspend registrations as we examine solutions.

Requiring the answering of questions at registration also seems to be reducing the amount of spam.

That makes sense. Glad to hear you aren't getting any spam problems.
