Thank you!! This was when I tried to shade/highlight with a manually picked color, rather than using layer effects like hard light and overlay. I tried to follow in the example of KoboldFactory, who is an artist I look up to for their general sense of style and rendering!

Working on game deving! Finally made some static sprites for the main character to use. (Gonna have to do walking sprites some other time).
