Within a forest, a small dirt clearing with patches of grass is exposed to the brightness of the sun through breaks in the canopy. A few pebbles and rocks are glistening from the drops left by the morning dew as a soft breeze gently flows through along your nondescript surface form (if applicable). Very relaxed and laying down, looking up into the sky and watching the leaves gently sway in the wind.

The rustling of the wind through the trees is familiar and inviting, but that's not the only reason why the branches bounce. You squint. What's going on up there?
Two small hands draw open the curtain of leaves and twigs. A fuzzy head, the kind an Earthling rat would have, pokes through. The colorful creature gazes down upon you with curiosity. They're a little friend! And the first sign of sentience you've encountered in nearly a week.
A smile wriggles out of your face. You've made it, haven't you? A charming critter has just greeted you in a strange and beautiful land. You begin to stand up to get closer to it. Only one thing could possibly ruin this moment...
Beep-beep. Beep-beep. Beep-beep.
