i see VTuber Plus mentioned in the OP and i feel the need to mention arzolath (the person who made VT+) is kinda, deep deep into generated AI slop. confronted him about some brazen use of it a while back and got some (now-deleted) aggressive replies from him.

VNyan is a great alternative, been using it for a couple years now. even has VR tracking now too!

Oh man, that's super disappointing. Especially because I got a model from them years ago, too. I'll remove it from the OP.

i adore veadotube and even use it at work on calls just placing in some telegram stickers I had, people think its super cool and fun

Update to this: We finally made the switch to Rahituber but only because trying to update one of our PNGtubers to have an intro/outro animation just straight up broke LandiTube. It took a little work but now that we understand the program better, we got the basic setup down on Rahituber... We're going to take a little break from PNGtuber updates but we have so many ideas to try out now. - Finn (fae/she)
