Maybe a TTRPG/TTCG type sub-forum? Consoles and Games are already separated, so maybe something for Tabletop? To include RPGs, Card Games, Wargaming, ect

I like the colours a lot!! But can you also do it with the "Readable" font please foxsad

I appreciate that it's authentic I just find it kinda blurry and hard to read, especially for the main bodies of posts
Not sure if this is just a "me" problem

I was planning on making a Dark Readable version as well but wanted to get the base Dark version done as well. Likely will be a tomorrow project.

I appreciate all the work you're putting in!

It seems to mostly be an issue with this font being in small sizes and/or when it gets bolded or italicized? I wouldn't mind it appearing in some places, though then you start getting into "too many fonts" territory I guess <--- massively overthinking it, again

A mini FYI that I woke up this morning to several reports of a troll and I deleted their posts as part of the ban. If the system also deleted your own posts quoting them in the process, let me know because back in my day I don't recall that button working that way so it might be a newer feature. Apologies!

I'm thinking maybe this thread and Lolo's one about Updates and Fixes should be pinned?

They're already stickied. Unless you mean have it be an announcement, which would make it visible on every subforum?

Nah, I meant stickied. I could have sworn that one of these threads had fallen down the page earlier

[s]There doesn't seem to be a visual indicator for a thread being stickied either, at least on the new dark theme (which is WIP), unless I'm blind (quite possible)[/s] nvm they're green

A favicon would be great to have. I keep a few websites open as pinned tabs, so the lack of an icon for here is especially frustrating!

Necrotext is traveling this week but I'll poke her for a favicon when she's recovered from flying.

Hey!
I wish we could choose which link to display below our name on boards.
Not all of us are more active on Twitch, so I think it would rock to have the option to link to another website I use a lot more (FA or YT for instance)!

So, the Twitch link being visible on posts is actually a bit of an oversight on my part (still getting used to how Custom Fields work in phpBB 😅). Basically, because it's not a Contact field, it shows up where it does instead of the expandable Contact menu.

This did provoke a thought that I'm bringing up with the others about a possible solution.

Ooooh riiiight I see. Well, it's gone now. Now I want a t-shirt saying "I was there when the Twitch link was visible at all times". Makes me think we need a "salute" / "Press F to pay respects" Smily haha

At any rate, thanks for looking into it :D

edit: I'm new so I just assumed the contact button would open PMs, that's why I did not consider that it could be a "bug" of sorts.

Yeah that's phpBB's default behavior it seems and it's kind of a real baffling choice. It's confused a number of us.

I don't wanna be the fun police all the time but I would be a little worried about adding too many things to the sidebar and have it be longer than the posts themselves

Maybe regdate could be cut? or the format changed so it only takes up one line instead of two? idk

Also I had no idea that "Contact: [@]" didn't just start a PM to the user, haha

While I'm complaining, this blue is really garish on the dark theme

I don't think we'll be adding more to the profile lines, but if it's one or two lines too long, I think we can deal with that tbh

I definitely think that Species and the Find Me Here will probably be the only ones we'll add.

The blue icons is something that will have to wait until I'm home tonight for me to look at, but shifting the hue to purple shouldn't be too hard.

I've only ever seen it back in my Something Awful forum days, which isn't a PHPBB forum, but they had [timg][/timg] which would clamp the image to like 100px tall and expand to full size when you clicked it.

Also in this thread to suggest bumping the posts per page? 10 feels like I'm constantly needing to click to see the rest of the new posts in a thread when it's not actually a super busy thread on a forum of this size. mousecheers

Oh wow, I thought that came in default with phpBB but I guess not? I'll look into it.

Is there a way to hide/collapse the Smilies box that's visible when writing a post? The animations can be a bit distracting when you're typing and aren't planning to insert one.

You'd be able to fit regdate into a single line by switching to a relative date format ("Joined: X days ago"). Besides, everyone's exact registration time can be found on their profile under User Statistics, so there's no need to display it on every post.
