Oh, I love Solatorobo! Fantastic soundtrack, too. :3
And yeah, definitely in the Fans Of Tail Concerto Series group, I've been keeping up with CyberConnect2's work since the PSX days. I even have a couple of the kemono art books they put out!
If people haven't played the Fuga: Melodies of Steel games, they're neat tactics games cross visual novels, set in the time before Solatorobo takes place (and explain why the world is blown into floating island in that game). All three are available both on Steam and pretty much all the consoles.

I'll second the recommendation for the Fuga series for anyone who enjoys Solatorobo, very solid resource management sort of tactical RPG! As much as I enjoy the Little Tail Bronx world and have all the books etc, the gameplay of the other entries didn't quite grab me in the way Fuga did.
To add to the list of games what feels like no one remembers, I gotta shout out SkyGunner (PS2). Fantastic, fantastic little score attack variety of flight sim. Each bullet fired is a point off your total, but taking out enemy machines and completing stage missions will counter such. Each character's plane also has a special function or sometimes a change-up of available cartoon missiles, so it's quite fun figuring out how to make the most of the character's loadout to get that big number.
The development team got absorbed into a bigger company in the way that often happens to small studios, but surprisingly this game was made available on PSN (PS4/PS5) just last year.

If we're talking games that no one remembers...
I gotta mention a niche Fromsoft game that dropped back in 2002 for the Gamecube.
And when I say niche, I mean pretty niche, since I've spoken to a good handful of Fromsoft fans that had no idea these games even existed.
Those being Lost Kingdoms.
A real time card-based combat game. Pretty interesting gameplay loop that I've never seen anyone else try, which is a shame, cause a Yu Gi Oh or MTG game in this style would be amazing.
It's weird, I didn't realise these games were so unknown or rare. The first game was a big part of my childhood, after my parents got it for me instead of Kingdom Hearts because they (and my child self) didn't understand how exclusives worked back then.

The first game has wild encounters trap you within a snippet of the map. The second game, on the other hand, has them play out on the open world.
Essentially there's three types of cards: Attack, Summon, and independent.
Attack is essentially a quick call, where a monster will appear over you to swing or lash out with an attack. You usually get a use or two out of a single card.
Summons fully replace your character and give you I-frames during the wind up. These are a one use per card kinda deal.
Independent are monsters you throw to the field that act independently as you run around the battlefield. Some will camp and give a support effect while others will go on the attack of your enemies.
All while you're in movement avoiding attacks and collecting the crystals needed to power your summons. If you don't have enough magic, they take the cost out of your health.
Cards then have the standard elemental typing on top of that to, for an extra layer of strategy.
Funnily enough, watching the demo for Pokemon ZA where you fight the rogue Mega Pokemon kinda reminded me a lot of this game.

Brave Fencer Musashi

Released back when Square was named Squaresoft, and Squaresoft made weird games. MUSASHI got positive reviews, probably because of the novelty of its 3D environment. It has a sequel that's very, painfully 2000s and probably uses the same code as Kingdom Hearts. Apparently, much more popular in JP than NA.

Been thinking of playing Brave Fencer Musashi at some point, remember playing it with my cousins on an aunt's house. I wanted to get it on the PS3 but they had removed it from the PSOne classics at some point.

Pekka Kana
I remember playing this game as a little child, on my grandpa's big thick PC. For years, I was actually wondering, if I didn't actually make up this memory, but then I saw it while browsing games on F-Droid, and I immediately recognized it on sight.
Here is a github page, you can play it in your browser, too! GMH-Code@Github
