Man, I wish these were reasonably priced, I want one bad.

BTW, does anyone have any experience with Dolphin's (GC and Wii emulator) network multiplayer? I've felt the urge to play some Bloody Roar with a friend, and being able to play it online would be much more convenient, plus it means we could potentially make it a streaming game.
I don't expect rollback or anything, and we do live quite close together, I'm just wondering how bad the input lag would be for the non-host.

person with best connection should host, the host decides the minimum input delay but players can decide their own if they want more for themselves, I use it to play Soul Calibur 2 Plus and Tatsunoko vs Capcom with a friend and it feels pretty good surprisingly so I believe it should be fine for y'all, just remember to use a traversal server and send the code to your friend, that y'all are on the same version of dolphin, using the same sd card (or just disable it for the time being), save syncing turned on, and in the lobby remember to assign controllers to each player. tell me how it goes or if y'all have any trouble :D

Thank you! <3

And oh man, I had entirely forgotten about Tatsunoko vs Capcom... something to revisit in the future I think, that game was fun.

I've been playing KRSCH with a friend (who beat me to cooking someone with Saga first) and we've found that it doesn't really matter who hosts in our experience, but we have to play on at least 12 input delay normally just because that's what tends to work for the game. You might get success out of less, but we haven't, though that could just be unavoidable.

You can main Lily! I main Lily! Unless you plan on making a living through tournament winnings you can genuinely play anyone you want and still have a great time. It's going to be easier to improve playing a character you like than a character you feel like you gotta because they're "good".

And even if you wanna go that route, Hibiki is regularly in the top ten players on ranked, sometimes even #1 with his Lily. They did a good job making everyone viable

Absolutely, and I do think she'd get me far; it's less about that and more about trying to break through in learning her, because she has been difficult to parse and try to learn things on, but I still like her and her playstyle too much to drop. I think I could switch gears and focus on Cammy when I get to play next, as I've broken the mold with her a bit more than I give myself credit for, but I do like Lily and ultimately want to keep playing her once I figure out How, I suppose; I've definitely watched guides and have her gameplan in my mind, but she feels like a character that takes a whole hurdle to understand beyond the beginner level I'm still kind of at.

Massive, massive fan of fighting games, but I spent a lil' more time in ze weird sorta games zhat aren't really lighting up player counts. More into weird Fightcade stuff zhan current games-which are great and I love 'em, I just don't have ze patience to keep up with labbing 'em.

Favorites recently are Advanced VG2, VSav, and I'm into ze new Strive patch but haven't played much yet.
