With so many different names it's no wonder some people would get confused, but one thing I've encountered over and over on the mean streets of Fightcade was a simple question that warranted a peek that was a little deeper than the precise set of characters making up a screenname.
"are you a girl?"
Humored by the confused insignificance of such a query, gradually turning into very mild annoyance as players were challenging me just to have a de-facto DM session to ask for the 74th time, it eventually reached a point where I couldn't watch replay uploads of myself getting owned without, still, running into that same question.
So I did what no reasonable person would do in response to a Youtube comment: Spend several hours meticuosly crafting a video response while translating both ways on Google Translate.
While on the surface, this looked to be just a silly video, it was actually the start of new things, a new hobby, a new CAREER...
The metrics didn't lie, I was up there with the big leagues. But the algorithms, the sponsorships, the influencer aura, the hordes of lep stans, the drama channels, the ever-growing Discord server with volunteer mods at their limits; the pressure was getting to me and it was just too much; I made my decision, this single upload was both the begininng and the end of Youtube for me.
...is what I would say, if not for one obvious, GLARING issue...

My design philosophy has always been "If they're confused, confuse 'em more", but I have to draw a line at false advertising. The thumbnail doesn't even match the rest of the video!
So I did what some reasonable people would do: Open up Blender and fix this problem.
Was this a sign? What could it mean? Memories...blanked...? Has the old me gone forgotten? This whole time when I thought I could've been a hero, was I really a zero?

I know, I'm disappointed in myself, too. It's just as annoying to deal with now as it was then, but I've decided to accept the responsibility and make things right. More recently, while seeking refuge on Fightcade, I was introduced to the small but thriving VS community of one of my favorite arcade games ever, TGM2, a 90s00s classic in terms of age but something new and fresh compared to today's contemporaries.
So I took it upon myself to show the world what a falling tetromino puzzle game could be, and after a month of work plus a road trip in the back seat with a laptop, it was ready:
